Job Title: Temporary School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summer Coverage - Illinois Educator Certification Required

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide temporary coverage during our summer program. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' communication skills during a short-term, focused period.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Educator Certification: Must hold an active Illinois Department of Education certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.  
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.  

Dates: June 10, 2025 – July 10, 2025

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM
• Fridays: No school
• First and Last Day: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.  
• Develop and implement engaging therapy activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
• Collaborate with other educational professionals.
• Adhere to all school and district policies and procedures.
