Qualifications for the TVI Position:

  • Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired (or a related field).
  • Active Georgia TVI certification.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with visual impairments and promoting an accessible learning environment.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities and Details:

  • Full-time position, requiring 37.5 to 40 hours per week for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year.
  • Monday through Friday schedule, ensuring consistent work hours.
  • Onsite role at the district's schools, providing direct support and specialized services to students.
  • Caseload includes K-12 students, offering a wide range of educational opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborative work with other educators and staff to foster student growth and success.
