In this role, you will play an essential part in providing specialized services to help students achieve their maximum potential.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans to address students' motor, sensory, and self-care skills.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans.
• Providing direct therapy services to students and monitoring their progress.
• Modifying therapy plans based on ongoing assessments and student development.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school community.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Illinois state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to supporting students' motor and sensory development.
