Experienced SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Dudley, MA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed and grow.

Position Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid Massachusetts SLP License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Experience with IEP processes and managing case loads.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with state and federal laws governing special education (IDEA).

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and other school-related functions.
• Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech therapy.
