Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Dudley, MA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed and grow.
Position Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Massachusetts SLP License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience with IEP processes and managing case loads.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with state and federal laws governing special education (IDEA).
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and other school-related functions.
- Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech therapy.
