Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals of various ages, considering their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective coordination of care and support the overall well-being of patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Indiana.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals of various ages and communication disorders is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
