Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Position

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in students. Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other professionals, you will develop individualized treatment plans and provide essential support to enhance students' language and social communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students' communication challenges, including articulation, language comprehension and expression, and fluency
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure consistent and coordinated support across academic and social settings
  • Regularly monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on effective strategies to promote students' communication skills in the classroom
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Indiana
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic procedures and treatment techniques for a range of communication disorders
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with students, families, and professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
