Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with a school district in Arcadia, LA, is on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist. The selected individual will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to aid in their academic success.
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student s needs.
- Provide therapeutic intervention to students to enhance their communication skills.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure integrated care for students.
- Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive technology.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input based on student progress and needs.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest SLP techniques and research.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as an SLP in Louisiana.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of school-based interventions and technologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a diverse caseload.
