Experienced SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Needed in Arcadia, LA

Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with a school district in Arcadia, LA, is on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist. The selected individual will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to aid in their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student s needs.
• Provide therapeutic intervention to students to enhance their communication skills.
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure integrated care for students.
• Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive technology.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide input based on student progress and needs.
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest SLP techniques and research.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure as an SLP in Louisiana.
• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of school-based interventions and technologies.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a diverse caseload.
