Experienced Special Education Teachers Needed - Scotch Plains, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective IEPs in collaboration with school teams.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
• Provide behavioral and academic support in inclusive and self-contained settings.
• Collaborate with families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success.
• Document and report on student progress regularly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid New Jersey Department of Education certification for Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD).
• New Jersey Standard Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS).
• Completion of fingerprinting and background check as required by the New Jersey Department of Education.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
