Extended School Year - Physical Therapist (PT) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a part-time contract position in Doylestown, PA, for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential physical therapy services to students in a supportive school-based setting.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state licensure requirements for practicing as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania. Candidates with experience working with special education students and families are highly preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct student assessments and evaluations to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct physical therapy services to support students’ functional mobility and academic participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to comply with district and state regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
• Educate school staff and families on mobility techniques and accessibility accommodations for students.
