Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced BCBA to join our team in a special education setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting functional behavior assessments, and collaborating with teachers and other stakeholders to support students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on individual student needs
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavior management strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions

Qualifications:

  • Must hold current state licensure and certification as a BCBA
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting the academic and social success of students with special needs
