Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Highwood, IL area. The ideal candidates will meet all local and state requirements for BCBA licensure and certification.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Compliance with all local and state licensure requirements
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices in behavior analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to determine the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Provide direct behavior analytic services to students, including skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans across settings
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions
  • Train school staff on behavior management techniques and provide ongoing support and coaching
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings to support student programming
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and intervention strategies
