Full-Time Behavioral Para/RBT near Charleston, SC (Supervision Required)

Location: Moncks Corner, SC (50 minute drive from Charleston, SC)
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Para or RBT to join our team in Moncks Corner, just 50 minutes from Charleston. In this role, you will start by working with a student on a 1:1 basis and eventually transition to supporting multiple schools within the district. You will assist students with behavioral needs, providing crucial support in the classroom and school environments to help them succeed academically and socially.

As an RBT, you will need to provide your own supervision for this role. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children with behavioral challenges and be passionate about creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 behavioral support to students with behavioral needs.
• Transition to supporting multiple schools and classrooms as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other specialists to implement behavioral intervention plans.
• Track and report student progress and behavior.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• RBT certification (must provide your own supervision) or experience as a Behavioral Para.
• Experience working with students with behavioral needs.
• Ability to adapt to various school environments and support multiple classrooms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hourly Rate: $25+ (based on experience and qualifications)
