As a Co-Teaching Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive the support and instruction they require to succeed academically and socially. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide targeted interventions and support to students in both small group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor students' progress and adjust instruction and support as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that values diversity and inclusivity
- Work closely with parents, other educators, and support staff to ensure student success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- State licensure or certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Dedication to meeting the diverse needs of students with disabilities
