Full Time Contract Job: School Psychologist

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position within a school district in the Orange, NJ area. We are looking for passionate professionals dedicated to supporting the mental health and educational development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create interventions and support plans.
• Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Offer crisis intervention and support for students dealing with emotional or behavioral issues.
• Consult with educators and parents to improve classroom management strategies and student engagement.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
• Valid New Jersey School Psychologist certification.
• Experience working within a school setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and psychological testing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
