Full Time Contract: School Based RN Role

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time position within a school district in the Peterborough, NH area. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide essential health services and support to students, ensuring their well-being and fostering a safe and healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and provide routine medical care to students as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, asthma, allergies, and seizures.
• Perform health assessments, including screenings for vision, hearing, and other medical conditions.
• Respond to emergency health situations and provide first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Maintain accurate health records for all students in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Educate students, staff, and families about health issues, disease prevention, and healthy living.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop individual health care plans (IHPs) for students with specific health needs.
• Ensure that the school complies with state and local health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Prior experience in pediatric, public health, or school nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in managing medical emergencies and chronic conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
