Full Time Contract: School Paraprofessional Position

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking dedicated and experienced Paraprofessionals for full-time roles with school districts in the Port Orchard, WA area. We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide support to students and enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and instructional support.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Help implement behavior management plans and strategies as directed by the teacher.
• Support students with special needs, ensuring their safety and participation in classroom activities.
• Prepare classroom materials and assist with the organization of the classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers regarding student performance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student success.
