Full Time Contract: Special Education Teacher Position

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position within school districts in the Grand Forks, ND area. We are seeking dedicated educators passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Adapt and modify general education lessons to meet the learning styles and abilities of students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure students’ educational and developmental success.
• Provide direct instruction to students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
• Use evidence-based strategies to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments, and documentation to track student progress.
• Advocate for students' needs and ensure they are receiving appropriate services and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in North Dakota.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of various teaching strategies and accommodations for diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families.
