Full Time Education Specialist Job

Blazer Jobs is looking for a skilled Special Education Education Specialist to join our Oakland, CA team. You will provide essential educational support to students with special needs, promoting an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to support student achievement.
• Apply evidence-based instructional techniques to address diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to state educational standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• License: California Clear Credential in Special Education.
• Certification: Completion of a Commission-approved teacher preparation program.
• Exams: Passing scores on CBEST and CSET for Special Education.
• Experience: At least one year of teaching experience in special education.
