Full Time | Elementary School Teaching Assistant | Arlington, MA

Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Paraprofessionals to join our team. As a Paraprofessional, you will provide valuable support to teachers and students, assisting with various tasks to ensure a productive learning environment. The position requires a CORI search and fingerprints for the district. Previous school experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom activities and instructional support.
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional help.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with special needs, including physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
• Help with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Completed CORI search and fingerprinting process for the district.
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to maintain a calm and supportive demeanor.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Contract Details: This position is a contract position with competitive pay. The hiring process involves a quick Zoom interview. The contract guarantees the specified hours per week, providing a consistent work schedule.
