We are looking for those who’d like a full-time opportunity with a school district. Applicants must provide two references in addition to their most updated resume.   • Location: Elementary school near Chickamauga, GA
  • Dates: ASAP - May 23rd, 2025
  • Hours: full-time (37.5hrs/wk)
  • Caseload: Position is with a Pre-k SPED classroom which operates in two sessions (7:30-10:30) and (10:30-1:30) and serves kiddos ages ranging from 3-6 year olds; these kiddos have varying levels of need with some being non-verbal, some requiring toileting training and others with significant behaviors; the students leave at 1:30 and the remainder of the school day, the para will be assisting teachers in preparation for the next day
  • Pay rate depends on certification, experience and education of candidate
  • Requirements: Candidate will need or be willing to obtain a GaPSC Para Certification; school experience is preferred; fingerprinting is also required
  • All roles must be willing/able to support behaviors, toileting, feeding, lifting, if needed.
  • Experience with students with disabilities and behaviors is highly recommended!
  • Requirements: Must have educational aide permit/license to be considered.
