Full Time K-8 School Speech Language Pathologist Needed

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position within a school-based setting in Monroe, MI. This opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about empowering students through specialized speech and language services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet specific student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create effective strategies for student success.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in adherence to state and school guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school functions.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Licensure: Michigan State Speech-Language Pathology License.
• Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. CFY candidates considered.
• Minimum of 1 year of school-based or pediatric experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
