Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Elementary School

Hours: Full-time, 37+ hours per week
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for a full-time position at an elementary school in San Jose, California. The LVN will work closely with an elementary student, providing one-on-one care and support for various medical procedures.
Qualifications:

• Current license as a Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Experience with pediatric care
• Proficient in medical procedures such as g-tube feeding/decompression, stoma patency, trach suctioning, emergency oxygen, emergency trach replacement, and bagging
• Ability to work with a student who is mobile and uses a wheelchair for transportation

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one medical care and support to an elementary school student
• Perform medical procedures including g-tube feeding/decompression, stoma patency, trach suctioning, emergency oxygen, emergency trach replacement, and bagging
• Monitor and assess the student's health status
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student

Compensation:

• Full-time role at 37+ hours per week
