In this role, you will play a vital part in providing essential therapy services to students and supporting their overall well-being.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions to support students' success in their academic and functional pursuits. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to identify students' specific needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Providing direct therapy services and collaborating with educational teams to support students' progress.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in students' care.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Illinois state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
