Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time, school-based position in Boulder, CO. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within an educational setting, helping students achieve their fullest potential through specialized therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each student.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with various disabilities, supporting their ability to participate fully in school activities.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and evaluations.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering professional input on student goals and objectives.
• Provide training and guidance to school staff and parents to support the continuation of therapy strategies outside of direct sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all local and state licensure and certification requirements for Occupational Therapy in Colorado.
• Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration within the school environment.
