Blazerworks, in partnership with the Little Rock School District, is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This is a full-time position, providing crucial occupational therapy services to students within the school district. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' goals and objectives.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Adapt and modify classroom environments and activities to promote students' participation and independence.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies for supporting students' occupational development.
  • Conduct meetings and communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Arkansas.
  • Previous experience working as an OT in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of various assessment and intervention techniques for students with diverse needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and patience when working with students with diverse abilities.
