Occupational Therapist - Full Time

Blazerworks, in partnership with a reputable school in Wyoming, DE, is actively seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the integration of therapy goals into the students' educational programs
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to address students' sensory, motor, and functional abilities
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports

Requirements:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and interventions
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality and individualized therapy services
