Full Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Working in Schools

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based role in Leonardtown, MD. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, providing the support they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
• Provide direct therapy focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the community to ensure therapy is integrated into the students' educational experiences.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Maryland Occupational Therapist License required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in school-based therapy.
• NBCOT certification is highly preferred.
• Understanding of Maryland school therapy practices and regulations is a must.
