Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Position

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract role in a school-based setting in Riverside, CA. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess students’ occupational therapy needs, and establish appropriate therapy goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a focus on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and other functional skills essential for academic and daily life success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that support students' unique needs.
• Monitor and track student progress to adjust therapy plans as necessary and ensure therapy goals are being met.
• Assist students in improving their daily living skills and social-emotional development.
• Provide training and support to teachers and parents on strategies to enhance students’ therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school district and state regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and ensure continued support.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
• Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and the special education process.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering student success.

• Weekly direct deposit with a competitive hourly rate of $50-$55 per hour.
