Full-Time School Occupational Therapist (OT) – Kent, WA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time position with school districts in the Kent, WA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to provide exceptional therapy services to students.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Possess an active Washington OT license issued by the Washington State Department of Health
  • Hold an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Have experience working as a licensed Occupational Therapist in a school or pediatric setting
  • Meet all local and state requirements, including fingerprinting, background checks, and additional district-specific clearances

Responsibilities

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, duties may include:

  • Conducting assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional abilities
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support students’ educational needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
  • Delivering direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals and state guidelines
  • Maintaining detailed records of student progress and communicating updates to the education team
  • Ensuring compliance with state and district regulations for school-based therapy services
