Job Description:

Blazerworks is proud to partner with the local school district in Wheaton, IL, to offer an exciting career opportunity as a Para in a full-time role. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students. As a Para, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students within the school district.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the classroom with various instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals.
• Assist with classroom management and student behavior.
• Help students with daily tasks and activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Some college coursework preferred).
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy when working with students.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Commitment to the educational development of students.
