Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join a school district team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paraprofessional to work with students, providing support to both special education and general education classrooms.

Position Overview:

• Location: LaFayette, GA
• Job Type: Full Time Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with special needs.
• Support students with daily activities, including academic tasks, social skills, and behavior management.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
• Paraprofessional certification (if required by state)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students with diverse needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional references required
