Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Full-Time

Location: Plaistow, NH

Blazerworks, in partnership with the local school district, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Plaistow, NH. Position Overview:

As an RBT at Blazerworks, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and work closely with children and their families to promote skill development and behavior reduction.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by the BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on the progress of clients during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBA, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.
  • Provide support and assistance to children with special needs to promote skill acquisition and behavior improvement.
  • Maintain a positive and professional rapport with clients and their families.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for helping children reach their full potential.
