Blazer Jobs has teamed up with a school district in Plaistow, NH, to seek out a passionate and committed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role calls for a professional dedicated to enhancing the lives of students, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA to promote positive behaviors.
- Collect data on student performance and behavior.
- Assist in conducting functional assessments and behavior evaluations.
- Support students in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Utilize behavior modification techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Communicate regularly with BCBAs regarding student progress.
- Attend required training and development sessions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, but a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Valid RBT credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patience and professionalism when working with challenging behaviors.
- Prior experience in an educational or clinical setting is beneficial.
