Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Tampa, FL

Blazer Jobs is partnering with the school district in Tampa, FL to fill a full-time, onsite Registered Nurse (RN) position for the current school year. This role involves supervising LPNs and providing general health room services at various school locations.

Details:

• Caseload/Details: General health room duties, supervision of LPNs. Positions available at Twin Lakes, Forest Hills, Burnett MS, and Mango ES.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Compensation: Starting at $28/hour

Special Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required – no exceptions.
• This position is to cover for an RN on leave and is expected to renew for the following school year based on performance and district needs.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily health room operations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise and provide guidance to LPNs.
• Manage emergency situations and provide first aid care.
• Document and report on student health issues and medical records.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and school district policies.
