Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time position within school districts in the Danville, IL area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement evidence-based strategies and interventions.
- Provide training and support to school staff on implementing behavioral programs and managing challenging behaviors.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as necessary to ensure student progress.
- Collect and analyze data to make informed decisions regarding student behavior management.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and district policies related to student behavior and documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide insights and recommendations for students requiring behavioral support.
- Serve as a resource for school staff on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field (required).
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (required).
- Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children (preferred).
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs and designing/implementing BIPs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Passing a background check and fingerprint clearance.
