Full-Time School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - El Segundo, CA

We are partnering with a school in the El Segundo, California area to find a full-time, school-based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the full school year. As a school-based LVN, you will support students in grades K - 12th with different health needs.

Position Details:

• Current School Year
• Full-time: up to 40 hours per week
• Caseload: diabetes management, medication administration, additional health needs; specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process. 
• Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Must have LVN California License/Certification or Compact License
• Must be CPR and BLS certified
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

General Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated nursing care to students, including monitoring health status, administering medications, and performing medical procedures as prescribed.
• Develop and maintain a healthcare plan in collaboration with the school health team, the student’s family, and healthcare providers.
• Respond to and manage acute medical situations related to the student’s condition.
