Full Time-School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)- Birmingham, AL

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Birmingham, AL. This position involves working with a K-12 caseload, providing therapy services to help students develop and improve their motor, sensory, and functional skills for academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students’ ability to participate in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom.
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license in Alabama.
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
