Full Time-School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)- Little Rock, AR

We are currently seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This position involves working with a K-12 caseload to provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote independence in daily tasks such as writing, self-care, and classroom participation.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions based on students' IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
• Assist students in adapting to school environments, enhancing their ability to participate in activities such as classroom learning and physical education.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
