Full Time-School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)- Ontario, CA

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Ontario, CA. This full-time position involves working with a K-12 caseload, helping students develop the skills necessary for success in the classroom and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and other areas impacting their education.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students' ability to participate in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to support their development.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required records.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and accommodations for students.
• Provide training and resources to educators and families on strategies to support student success.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapist license in California.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school teams.
• Knowledge of IEPs and special education laws.
