Full Time-School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)- Riverside, CA

We are seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Riverside, CA. This full-time position involves working with a K-12 caseload, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in their academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom.
• Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California OT license.
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of special education laws and best practices in school-based occupational therapy.
