Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Licensure: Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Certification: CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Background Check: Ability to pass all required state and local background checks.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with their individualized health plans (IHPs).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and respond to student health concerns during school hours.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state and district policies.
• Participate in health-related education and training for students and staff as needed.
