Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to apply:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- Licensing: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with children preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of behavioral interventions, data collection, and the ability to create individualized plans.
- Background Check: Must pass both state and local background checks.
- Additional Requirements: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with school staff, students, and families.
Responsibilities:
As a BCBA, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and analyzing behavior patterns.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
- Collaborating with teachers and other school professionals to implement interventions across settings.
- Providing training and support to staff and families on behavioral techniques and strategies.
- Collecting and analyzing data to track progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Supporting the development and review of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students with behavioral needs.
- Ensuring that interventions are evidence-based and in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
