Full-Time School COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) – Littleton, CO ($40-42 hr)
Blazerworks is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a partnered school district in Littleton, CO for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time role that provides an opportunity to support and work closely with students to improve their educational experience through occupational therapy services.
Position Overview:
- Location: Littleton, CO
- Employment Type: Full-time, for the entire 2024-2025 school year
- Start Date: August 2024
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering high-quality therapy services to students.
- Support the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs.
- Work one-on-one and in groups with students, helping them develop motor skills, improve daily living skills, and enhance their school participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success.
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid COTA certification in the state of Colorado.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about helping students reach their full potential.
