Full-Time School COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) – Littleton, CO ($40-42 hr)

Blazerworks is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a partnered school district in Littleton, CO for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time role that provides an opportunity to support and work closely with students to improve their educational experience through occupational therapy services.

Position Overview:

• Location: Littleton, CO
• Employment Type: Full-time, for the entire 2024-2025 school year
• Start Date: August 2024
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering high-quality therapy services to students.
  • Support the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' unique needs.
  • Work one-on-one and in groups with students, helping them develop motor skills, improve daily living skills, and enhance their school participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success.
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid COTA certification in the state of Colorado.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about helping students reach their full potential.
