Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time role within school districts in the Plainfield, IL area. Join our team and play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of students through specialized therapeutic interventions!

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Board of Medicine
  • Completion of a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs and goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on students' therapy needs
