Full-time School Paraprofessionas
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students with moderate to severe behaviors in Montgomery, AL. This full-time role focuses on assisting teachers and students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to implement instructional plans and manage classroom behaviors.
- Support students with diverse physical, mental, and behavioral challenges.
- Carry out tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting when necessary.
- Promote a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Active Paraprofessional license/certification in Alabama is required.
- Must have two years of accumulated college credits (48 hours) or a 2-year degree from an accredited institution or successfully completed the WorkKeys test.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
