Full-Time School Physical Therapist (PT) Job

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a full-time contract position in Santa Clara, CA. This role is based in a school setting, providing essential support to students with diverse needs.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state licensure requirements for practicing as a Physical Therapist in California. Additionally, candidates with experience working with special education students and families are highly preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will:

• Assess and evaluate students to develop appropriate therapy plans tailored to their needs.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student goals and progress.
• Provide training and support to school staff and families regarding mobility, accessibility, and accommodations.
