Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and emotional development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support to students, addressing social and emotional concerns
- Offer guidance and recommendations to improve classroom management and student behavior
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students' needs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid Virginia School Psychologist certification
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
