As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting a positive school environment and enhancing students' overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and support to students, addressing social and emotional concerns
  • Offer guidance and recommendations to improve classroom management and student behavior
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students' needs

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid Virginia School Psychologist certification
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
