Full-Time School Psychologist – Ontario, CA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Ontario, CA area. We are seeking highly qualified professionals who meet all state and local requirements to support student success through comprehensive psychological services.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Possess an active California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Have prior experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school-based setting
- Meet all local and state requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and district-specific clearances
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities may include:
- Conducting psychological and educational assessments to determine student needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing counseling services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment
- Assisting with behavioral intervention plans and crisis intervention strategies
- Maintaining accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Participating in IEP and 504 meetings to advocate for students' mental health and academic needs
