  • Current Kansas state certification as a School Psychologist.
  • A Master s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Proven experience in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of local education policies and regulations.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Typical responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing intervention strategies to address student needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
  • Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations of students.
  • Providing individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Assisting in the development and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Offering crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Advocating for students educational and emotional needs.
