Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Aurora, IN

Duration: 2023-2024 School Year

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs? Do you have experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Aurora, IN. As an RBT, you will work closely with children with autism or other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide support to students in educational settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
  • Collect and record data on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and collect accurate data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
